Rates for Kreta Ayer People's Theatre

TICKETED PERFORMANCES

Minimum 6 hours block including stage setup and dismantle time

Any 6 hours consecutive booking between 9 am and 11 pm

Full day rates

From 10 am to 10 pm

Hourly rates for rehearsal only (Strictly no ticketed performance)

Minimum 3 hours

Rate for stage set up between 7 am and 9 am: 2 x above rate 

TALKS AND SEMINARS

Minimum 4 hours block including stage setup and dismantle time

Any 4 hours consecutive booking between 9 am and 11 pm

Hourly rates for extension only 

From 11 pm onwards

Hourly rates for rehearsal only (Strictly no ticketed talk / seminar)

Minimum 3 hours

Hourly rental rates for box offce (without ticker seller)

Minimum 3 hours from 9 am to 8 pm

  • Non-Profit Organisations* (NPO): Organisations registered under the Registry of Societies as a Non-Profit Making

  • Commercial Organisations* (CO): Companies registered under ACRA.

  • Discount**: 25% off for Committee under KAKS Division; 15% off for CCCs & CCMCs from the same GRC / Events in Collaborations with KAKS GROs; 5% off for Rest of the GROs Islandwide / PA HQ Units

 

Key Notes:

  1. All rates are nett (included GST).

  2. Kreta Ayer Community Club Management Committee (KACCMC) reserves the rights to amend the above rental rates without prior notice.

  3. The rental charges included air-conditioning, in-house lighting engineer, in-house sound system engineer, technician support and use of all dressing rooms.

  4. KAPT shall be used for Event(s) relating to community, social, recreational or commercial purpose activities and is subject to approval by the KACCMC only. Religious and Political activities are strictly prohibited within the premises of KAPT.

  5. Dismantling and removal of all props and equipment brought in by organisers must be completed by the end time stated in the booking form. An additional charge of $900.00 / hour for the non-profit organisation, $1,200.00 / hour for commercial organisation and $750.00 / hour for schools / MOE registered institution will be incurred should the organiser exceeds the stipulated timing.

  6. The organiser must place a Security Deposit of $1000 per event (Refundable after the event if no dispute).

  7. A cleaning fee of $250.00 per day is applicable for cleaning of the backstage.

  8. It is compulsory for the organiser to obtain the necessary permits before the event date. The organiser shall produce the permit upon request from the Kreta Ayer CC Management Committee.

  9. It is compulsory for the organiser to purchase the Public Liability Insurance to Licensed Area at the minimum value of S$1,000,000 for the Theatre or such other amounts as may from time to time be specified by the Kreta Ayer CC Management Committee. THE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE POLICY SHOULD COVER LIABILITY IN RESPECT OF BODILY INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM OR CAUSED BY, CONTRIBUTED TO BY THE ACTIONS OR ACTIVITIES OF STALLHOLDERS, CONTRACTORS, SUPPLIERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS. The organiser shall ensure that the Kreta Ayer CC Management Committee receives a copy of the public liability insurance policy no later than 2 weeks prior to the License Period.

  10. 50% payment must be made via cheque, payable to "Kreta Ayer CCMC" to confirm booking. Balance is to be made at least 30 calendar days before actual event.
